Very sweet video....

Will the girls let us dangle our pink worms in front of them or will we be obligated to only be throwing seducers and buuny hair leeches.

The great debate: which is better or real steelheading?

The Great Lakes or the Pacific Northwest.

Ohh the scenery and Romance of the PNW is definatley alluring however the "flies only/$8000 a week" price-tag isn't.
If only money was of no significance...
Taimen in Mongolia
Atlantics in Iceland
Steelhead in Kamchatka
Rainbows on the Kenai
and December Chromers in the Shire ;0)

Not to mention the fact that wild stocks out there are in a dismal state. April Vokey mentioned in a podcast that she's happy with one fish from the Thompson in one week's worth of angling effort. Based on my experience on the Dean, it's not much better there either.

An $8000 fish would sure be hard to justify on any front.
However if $$ was shooting out my A$$ the PNW would definatley be on my list of haunts.

British Columbia sucks...going to a lodge like that is like visiting a brothel...it is nice to dump semen into something hot but it should never be mistaken for beauty.
Just imagine, however, what it would be like to fish that river with the proper equipment..

Well...to be fair to the provice of BC I'll reserve my judgement for when I fish her waters. Until then it sure looks inviting.
Dude, you need a Vicodin...

My folks have been pressuring me to move to B.C and I would probably hang myself at the thought of going decades without hooking into a steelhead.

I agree with Norland that B.C's steelhead fishery has gone down the shitter.

Who isn't?
People are only human.
BC is a great example of how to not manage a fishery...useless

"manage fisheries"...
You mean we manage fisheries here in Canada? I thought we collected fishery revenues.
